About Us

Downer Blasting Services (DBS) is one of the largest blasting contractors in the Australian mining industry. We provide blasting and explosives services to projects right across Australia, with a fleet of over 50 explosives delivery systems, four state-of-the-art emulsion-manufacturing facilities and a 250-strong workforce.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Downer Mining, we have the backing and capability of a leading mining services company, but the personal touch of a smaller one.
